BOOT CAMP

Innovative, high-intensity group workouts that are fast, fun and results-driven. Boot camp is a total-body, calorie-crushing workout that incorporates the best, most cutting-edge training methods to help you transform your body and get fit fast.

TRANSFORMATION TRAINING

Our small group training program is a strength and resistance based workout with lower impact exercises. Every day utilizes a different training method (metabolic, lactic, density, and strength) to optimize hormones in order to melt stubborn body fat and build functional lean muscle.

PERSONAL TRAINING

If you’re looking for a fully-customized training program tailored to your specific needs, personal training is the optimal choice. SCBC offers 1-on-1 personal training as well as 2-on-1 personal training. Your personal trainer will create a program for you based on your goals, specific needs, and abilities. We have 30 minute personal training sessions and 1 hour personal training sessions available.

Husband and wife duo, Kevin and Kristen, have been in business together almost as long as they have been married (15 years!). Kevin graduated from Southern Adventist University with his B.S. in Corporate & Community Wellness Management. Kristen finished her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the Univ. of TN at Chattanooga. Kevin is one of the head trainers at SCBC while Kristen oversees the behind-the-scenes operations.

That’s a tough question! No two workouts are ever the same. But the types of exercises typically involve the use of your full body and multiple muscle groups to burn a ton of calories and work you from head to toe. Lifting, squatting, jumping, twisting, pulling, punching, kicking, rowing, biking – if it’s functional, it can be found at Scenic City Boot Camp. Our facility is like a big adult playground… and we have a ton of different training tools at our disposal so you never get bored or hit a plateau. Of course, we have the normal dumbbells, barbells, med balls and suspension trainers, but we also use surfboards, maces, inertia waves, wavemasters, and war machines, to name a few. You never know what to expect at Scenic City Boot Camp. But one thing is for sure…. “With a trainer, it’s a no-brainer. Just show up and you’ll get results.”

100%. It’s what we do. Unlike most fitness programs in Chattanooga, our group training programs center around strength-driven interval training, which is scientifically proven to be the BEST way to help you lose body fat while simultaneously building lean, functional muscle. If fat loss is your goal, nutrition should be your first priority, followed by resistance training, THEN cardio.

All of our classes are one hour long. Studies show that the sweet spot for fitness results is 50 minutes so all of our workouts include a dynamic warm-up, workout, and cool-down. We recommend between 3-5 classes per week for best results.

Yes! We offer child care between 9am-10:30am M-F and 5-7:15p Mon-Thurs, as well as 5:30p-6:30p on Fridays. Child care is offered free of charge to our members during their class sessions. Unfortunately, we do not offer child care for weekend classes.

Yes! We have 3 private shower rooms available as well as changing rooms.

During your first appointment, we’ll give you a tour of the facility and get to know your fitness goals and background. If you decide to sign up for one of our programs, we’ll help you get set up on your nutrition plan, do a Fit 3d body comp scan, and paperwork to help you get started. There is no risk or obligation to sign up at your appointment… but we certainly hope you do!

Most people coming to Scenic City Boot Camp start with the 6-week challenge. The 6-week challenge is a results-proven body makeover program that can help you lose up to 12-25 lbs. It includes unlimited boot camp classes (9 classes offered each day), trainer accountability, meal plan, recipes, weekly food journal check-ins, and 3d body comp scans to track your changes in body comp, weights and measurements! The program is $50 per week, which can be paid weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

If you prefer a smaller group or need more hands-on attention from a trainer, this might be the best place to start. Our 8-week challenge is designed to help you lose stubborn body fat, tone/strengthen and transform your body using a unique blend of resistance training methods. 
It’s done in a low-impact small group setting led by a personal trainer who works with you to ensure you have a safe and effective workout experience and is scalable for all ages and fitness abilities. 

The class meets 4 days per week for 1 hour and the 8-week challenge includes regular Fit 3d body scans to track your progress in body composition, a custom nutrition plan, trainer accountability and cardio homework on off-days in a private FB group. The challenge is $50 per week, which can be paid weekly, biweekly or monthly. 

Our fitness program is designed for adults but we typically allow teenagers 16 years and older. On the other side of the spectrum, we have had several clients in their 60’s and 70’s in both our boot camp and small group training programs. We also offer a Fit Over 50 class in our transformation training program.
